AI at scale is impossible without system design in place complemented by a fundamental assessment of any associated business processes. Some call it digital transformation but that aged terminology establishes past practices and ties us to the way we’ve always done technology and doesn’t truly set the “enterprise” up for future success. During this session, we’ll learn about the history of AI, why we’ve been using it already and why it’s different now and forever. Bottom up AI “science” projects are useful but only after the system is primed for dissemination. Some key items that will be discussed:
  • How to put necessary support in place to make AI meaningful and what decisions are required to implement at scale
  • Understanding the IoT landscape in a highly regulated industry like Aviation
  • Discussing the transformation required to democratize historically safeguarded data in the Aviation industry
  • Examples where some projects fail and others succeed driven by the balance of taking on more than a science project MVP
